Amid tight security, AP CM Jagan has appeared before the CBI special court in connection with disappropriate assets case. Interestingly, this is the first time Jagan appearing before the CBI court after becoming CM.

Jagan is accompanied by YSRCP Rajya Sabha member V. Vijayasai Reddy who is A2 in the case to the CBI special court. Security has been tightened up on the premises of the court with Jagan coming here. Jagan is facing allegations as the prime accused in the quid pro quo deals.

After becoming the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Jagan filed a petition in the special court and sought exemption from appearing before the court personally as he will be busy with his hectic schedule as CM.

Jagan has requested the special court to exempt him from personal appearance and said on his behalf the co-accused will appear before the court. The special court has adjourned the investigation to Jan 17.

To today's investigation apart from Jagan and Vijayasai Reddy, former minister Dharmana, IAS Sri Lakshmi and retired IAS Samuel appeared.
