Congress senior leader Jairam Ramesh comments on Andhra Pradesh three capitals. He said that is is not possible to make three capitals in a State like Andhra Pradesh.
Congress senior leader and union minister Jairam Ramesh came up against the proposal of three capitals. He said that in a state like Andhra Pradesh, three capitals cannot be done. He believes that the Amaravati is the ideal place for the capital city. He also said that the Assembly, High Court and the Administration cannot be kept at various places and it would be difficult for the administration.
Congress does not have a clear stand on the capital issue. However, many Congress leaders opposed the proposal of three capitals. Jairam Ramesh played a crucial role in the AP Bifurcation Act 2014.
