In a quick turn of events, the old allies Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) and Janasena allied once again with a hope to emerge as "third alternative" in Andhra Pradesh.
This move came days after Pawan Kalyan met BJP working president Nadda at his residence in Delhi.
Pawan Kalyan termed this alliance as "historic and important development" and thanked PM Modi and Amit Shah for being gracious enough. Pawan Kalyan and BJP state President for AP Kanna Lakshmi Narayana called for a press conference, post-four-hour-long meeting.
"We held a series of discussions over the past few months and bridged that gap. Thus, we are back in alliance," Pawan said.
The BJP and the Jana Sena will be the third alternative that people are looking for. We will emerge as a formidable force by 2024," Pawan observed.
"We have over four years time to strength ourselves in the state and we will certainly clinch power in 2024," Pawan added.
