The Dragon country China, which has controlled the Coronavirus infections in the nation has focused on Covid-19 testing at the airports. The nation has been testing people coming from other countries.
Unlike other nations, China is using anal swab tests of the other nationals for Coronavirus tests. Several nations have opposed this and raised their voice against the practice.
Now Japan had also opposed this and asked China to not use anal swab samples of its citizens. Japanese Chief Cabinet Secretary Katsunobu Kato urged the Beijing officials to not follow the procedure against the Japanese nationals. However, there is no response from the officials.
The Japanese officials said the procedure had already caused damage to people who underwent the sample testing procedure and urged the officials in China to change the system.
Addressing a press conference, Kato told the reporters at the press briefing that, they were informed about this by the Japanese embassy in China. Japanese people moved the embassy on the psychological pain they went through with the new testing procedure. There is no evidence to prove that anal swab testing yields an effective outcome, he said.
However, there is no official confirmation on how many Japanese individuals underwent the testing procedure. The Chief Cabinet Secretary didn't mention the number of people who were tested by the Chinese officials.
China has been using the anal samples of passengers to check for possible potential pandemic infections. The Dragon country is doing so to see that no new strain of pandemic enters their soil.
