Jitender Reddy as Telangana BJP president?

Is the BJP central leadership planning to make former MP AP Jitender Reddy as the next Telangana state BJP president? Highly placed sources say yes. He is likely to be made the state president of the BJP.
Why Jitender Reddy? Jitender Reddy is from Mahabubnagar and has always been close to the BJP and the ABVP regardless of which party he is in. Even when he was in the TDP and the TRS, he maintained close relationship with the BJP. He also well connected among the Reddy community in particular and Telangana politicians from all across the state. This will help the BJP in getting leaders from various parties into the BJP.
The party central leadership also feels that Jitender Reddy being a moneybag himself, will be able to mop up funds for the party in a big way. Party sources say that there are at least five names for the state BJP president. Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay, Nizamabad MP Dharmapuri Aravind, MLC Ramachandra Rao and former minister DK Aruna are also being considered. Both Aruna and Jitender Reddy are from the same district. It is clear that the BJP wants to have president from outside Hyderabad. Of all these, Jitender Reddy is said to be a clear front runner.
