X
Realising quickly that his decision to cut the pay cheques of the government employees citing Corona crisis as a pretext was boomeranging, Telangana CM KCR has quickly made amends. He has now exempted some services from the pay cut. The employees of the health, medical departments and the police would now be paid full salaries.

KCR has realised that his decision to cut the pay did not go well with the people at large and the employees in particular. He also found that the people began questioning his oft-repeated claims that he has created a Bangaru Telangana. If the state's financial position is so strong, why should there be a pay cut, the people began asking Also, neighbouring AP, whose financial position is much worse, has decided to pay the whole salary, al beit in two instalments. In Maharashtra, the Class IV employees were exempted from the pay cut Seeing that the people are comparing his government with the other two governments, KCR has quickly revised the decision.

Now, the government would also take a decision on paying incentives to the employees, besides paying their salaries. The employees of these two front line departments would now get full salary.
