Telangana Chief Minister KCR made the first big step with the Khammam event for his third front aim. A massive event was held in the city today. Big political personalities including three serving Chief Ministers and a few former Ministers attended the event.
The event hinted that the third front might pose a threat to the Bharatiya Janata Party. As the BJP is in plans to win the third consecutive Lok Sabha polls the third frond might make the saffron party cautious and not take the election victory for granted.
KCR's counterparts assured support for him and even alleged that the Centre is hindering the Governor system. As Governors are having issues with non-BJP Chief Ministers like KCR, Stalin, and Mamata Banerjee, the comments saw some relevance.
BRS chief KCR gave an aggressive speech at the event and sounded confident that the front would win the polls and the Bharatiya Janata Party will go home. He said that the front has the capability to take on the BJP which is causing problems.
Talking about the free power scheme implemented in the state, KCR said that the sane would be implemented if the front comes to power in the nation. His comments received wild cheers from the crowd.
However, defeating the Bharatiya Janata Party might be a big task for the proposed third front. The Chief Ministers who are against the saffron party have to focus on the elections in their respective states and the Lok Sabha polls as well.
Leaders with national acceptance are required for this. The front is yet to find such a leader. If the leaders are adamant about bringing the alternative front then they should picture the leader with a Pan-India image.
