The Pink Panther has rehabilitated his son KTR and nephew Harish Rao. Two other close relatives are also rehabilitated. Another nephew Santhosh Kumar is a Rajya Sabha MP, while G Vinod, who lost the Karimnagar Lok Sabha seat election to Bandi Sanjay, has been made deputy chairperson of the Telangana Planning Board, which is a cabinet rank post. Now, KCR has just one more important task on hand.
No... it's not about the people and their welfare. It is about how to rehabilitate his daughter dear Kavitha Kalwakuntla. Kavitha is out of currency ever since she lost the election in Nizamabad. Congress stalwart D Srinivas' son Dharmapuri Aravind trounced her and since then, she has been in limbo. Nothing much is heard about her. The Telangana Jagriti programmes and the Batukamma festival too have been low key. Kavitha has not been seen on any public function. So, KCR has a responsibility to rehabilitate her.
One possibility is making her the TRS candidate from Huzurabad assembly constituency, which is going to bypolls as Uttam Reddy has gone to parliament. But, Kavitha, sources say, is not interested in moving out of her base in Nizamabad. If she shifts to Huzurabad, she will be seen as an outsider there and she would be considered a fugitive in Nizamabad. In that event, Rajya Sabha route is the easiest. Two Rajya Sabha seats are going to fall vacant in 2020 and one of these seats could be given to her, according to TRS watchers. Whatever the case, Kavitha needs to be rehabilitated quickly. That completes the employment to all politically-inclined members of KCR's family.
