Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao would be among the few VIPs who would be attending a dinner being hosted by President Ramnath Kovind in honour of US President Donald Trump, who will be in India on a 36 hour tour. The President had sent invitations to all the Chief Ministers of the country and in all probability, KCR would leave for New Delhi on February 25.
Trump would arrive on Monday and would participate in a meeting organised at the Motera Stadium in Ahmedabad. Later, he would leave for Agra. Later, he and his family members would leave for Delhi, where he would stay in Hotel Mourya. All the 249 rooms in the hotel have been booked for the US President's entourage. He would be hosted by President Ramnath Kovind.
This outing of KCR is being seen as a key development as he could get an opportunity to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi. KCR had not met Modi in several months, especially after the 2019 elections.
