KCR on high alert, keeps watch on those meeting Eatala

TRS supremo KCR has gone on a high alert ever since the BJP in Telangana made his bete noire and former colleague Eatala Rajender as the convener of the Joinings Committee. The committee will identify the prospective leaders who are unhappy in the TRS and are looking to join other parties. These will be brought into the BJP.
KCR is on an alert as Eatala was his long-time associate and knows KCR's strategies very well. Not just that. He also knows the rumblings within the TRS and knows how to approach the dissidents. Thus he would be in a position to attract leaders from the TRS into the BJP in a big way. KCR reportedly feels that Eatala and former MP Konda Vishweshwar Reddy would make a formidable combination and can lure a lot of TRS leaders.
According to highly placed sources, KCR has called for keeping a watch on who in the TRS is in touch with Eatala. It is a well-known fact that Eatala has a lot of friends in the TRS and he can identify thousands of ground-level leaders. Reports also say that Eatala is holding 'durbars' every day at his Shamirpet residence and several TRS cadres are meeting him on the sly.
KCR is particularly worried as Eatala had a one-on-one meeting with Amit Shah both on June 19 and then on July 2 on the sidelines of the national executive. He is said to have offered a roadmap for luring the TRS leaders into the BJP. Amit Shah is said to have approved the proposal.
