KTR Has a New Definition For Double Engine Model!

Double Engine Model is the word we have been hearing mostly in Telangana. The term is used widely to target the Bharatiya Janata Party which is in power at the centre. The ruling party in Telangana, Telangana Rashtra Samithi often attacks the saffron party BJP with the same term.
None other than Telangana IT Minister KTR once again used the term and gave a new name for the double engine model. The TRS working president said that the double engine is Prime Minister Narendra Modi and ED. Having said that KTR also thanked the BJP for appointing T-BJP chief Bandi Sanjay as the chief of ED.
Obviously, he made these comments in a satirical manner in response to the constant attack of the Telangana wing of the BJP that Telangana Chief Minister KCR will also face a probe from the ED. Reacting to the protests made by the Congress cadre to stand in solidarity with Sonia Gandhi, who is questioned by the ED.
The BJP has been alleging that it has all the records of the wrongdoing of the TRS chief and one day it would make him face the probe and he will be declared guilty in this. Though the saffron party is in power at the centre and it can make the central agencies question anyone, the BJP is not doing that and the warning is just restricted to words.
There is an opinion that the BJP is using the central agencies to target the opposition leaders. Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi getting summons are being seen on similar lines.
The alleged trend of weaponizing the central agencies is not a good practice as it hinders the very basic element of democracy. The way the Telangana wing of Bharatiya Janata Party is aggressively using the ED probe to target the TRS snakes many feel that it wants to implement the same strategy in the south as well.
