Telugu Desam Party(TDP) leader and Kakinada City Mayor Sunkara Pavani, who has been in the bad books of the corporators faced no-confidence voting on Tuesday. A few big names also took part in the voting that came to a conclusion.

The TDP Corporator lost her position by attracting 36 votes in favor of the no-confidence motion. It was a bit humiliating to the opposition TDP and Corporatort as Pavaniu had failed to get at least one vote against the no-confidence. This shows how the corporations are unhappy with her behavior.

Leaders like Minister Kanna Babu, MP Vanga Geetha, MLA Dwarampudi also took part in the voting and cast their vote in favour of the no-confidence motion creating a situation that Pavani should step down as the Kakinada City Mayor.

The no-confidence motion was called with the corporators complaining against the Mayor alleging that she is not hearing what the Corporators are saying. After the corporators signs the notice the voting was held on Tuesday,

The issue that made everyone guessing on what would happen next had resulted in the no-confidence motion getting the full majority. We have to see what will happen next. This is a piece of good news for the ruling YSRCP which is said to be eyeing the Mayor's post.
