Squashing the media reports involving him in financial scams, Self-Proclaimed godman Kalki Bhagwan released a video. In the video, he is seen giving a message to his devotees that he has not flown away from the Country but eventually he became more powerful after the IT raids took place.
"The government or the IT Department has said we have fled the country", said Kalki Bhagwan in the video denying the allegations he is facing.
Kalki, who proclaims himself as the 10th incarnation of Lord Vishnu is from Tamil Nadu and was born as Vijay Kumar.
He said that he and his wife Nemam, whom he declares as the form of Goddess Lakshmi are in Tamil Nadu and they are safe. He also made it clear that they will not leave the country. "In fact, we have become more powerful," he added.
Reportedly the ashrams will continue their functioning as earlier.
The Income Tax officials have found out foreign currencies worth Rs 500 crore and seized Gold and Diamonds at his ashrams.
