The Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) took the upcoming Dubbaka bye-election, which are slated to commence on November 3 as prestigious and leaving no stone unturned to woo the voters.
BJP leader and Minister of State for Home Affairs G. Kishan Reddy, who campaigned for BJP candidate Raghunandan Rao made some rather interesting comments about Telangana formation.
Addressing the rally, Kishan Reddy said Telangana state was formed after the BJP supported the bill in parliament when the Congress introduced the bill in the house but not with KCR's efforts, reports claimed.
He even mocked Telangana Kalvakuntla Chandrashekhar Rao, who said a Dalit person will be the first CM of Telangana if TRS comes to power, but he becomes the Chief Minister instead, reports stated.
He appealled to the voters in the Dubbaka constituency to give a chance for the Telanagana wing of BJP to serve the constituency with conviction.
