Minister Kodali Nani accused Chandrababu Naidu of planning to create ruckus in the House using his MLAs. He made this allegation after TDP Members including Buchaiah Chowdary went to the Speaker's podium and raised slogans during the debate on YSR Rythu Barosa.
Kodali Nani questioned how could the Main Opposition stall the proceedings when the debate is happening on a crucial scheme like Rythu Barosa. He added, 'While YS Jagan has been trying his best to help the farmers, Main Opposition has been raising Jai Amaravati slogans. Don't they want Uttar Andhra development?'.
The Minister claimed CM Jagan allotted Rs 3,000 crore for providing MSP for farm produce. He went on to say, YCP Government is trying to address the drought in Rayalaseema, Nellore and Prakasam with Godavari and Krishna water'.
Kodali Nani: 'Though TDP won 23 MLA seats, It currently have just 21 Members. Four out of them are from Visakha itself. Only two of them were taking part in Amaravati agitation. People are closely observing these facts. KCR resigned multiple times and contested by-polls for Telangana. Even YS Jagan made his MLAs and MPs resign for proving a point. If TDP Leadership have the confidence that they are doing the right thing by organizing Amaravati movement, Let them resign and contest by-election...so that, people's mandate will prove who is right and who is wrong'.
When Kodali Nani made this challenge, TDP MLAs told they are ready to resign if YCP Legislators lead by example. Then, The Minister poked fun at the Opposition MLAs by saying: 'Will there be Government if 151 YCP MLAs resign? That shows what you are up to!'.
