The former Indian skipper Virat Kohli has been struggling to roar big with his bat given his poor form. With the 2022 edition of the short format World Cup round the corner, his poor form raised many fears and concerns among Run Machine Virat Kohli fans and cricket fans.

As a piece of good news for the cricket fans, Virat Kohli got his lost form that too in style. In a crucial match that defines the chances of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) making it to the play-offs, Virat Kohli scored a half-century in a do-or-die match. By blasting the Gujarat Titans team bowlers all around the park, he scored 73 runs off 54 balls

Though the target of 169 runs is not that big, the Gujarat Titans team is not that big, the bowlers did not give any time to the RCB batsmen to freely score the runs. But Virat Kohli made sure that the play-bold army finishes the target.

Getting his Midas touch, Virat Kohli scored a quick half-century. Along with a new skipper Faf du Plessis, Virat Kohli made a century stand with 115 runs. After a stunning knock, Virat Kohli lost his wicket. After taking his team to the winning side almost, Virat Kohli was dismissed by Rashid Khan.

Virat Kohli had left his impact in the white-ball format to a level that he is regarded as one of the best players in the format. Despite not scoring any centuries in the last three years, Virat Kohli stays in the top five or top ten in the ICC rankings.

However, his poor form made him face much criticism. A few media outlets even said that Virat Kohli should leave the T20 format and focus only on 50-overs and the longer format of the game. A few former players even advised him to take a break as he has been playing cricket without any gap.

By getting his Midas tich, Virat Kohli proved the good old proverb that form is temporary but class is permanent. With one heroic knock, Virat Kohli showed the world his batting prowess one more time.
