After a disappointing T20 World Cup seniors in the Indian team were rested for the New Zealand tour. Current skipper Rohit Sharma and former captain Virat Kohli were rested. Kohli is making the best out of his free time by spending quality time with his family. He recently visited a famous temple in Uttarakhand.

Run Machine Virat Kohli sent social media into a frenzy with his post. He recalled his heroics against arch-rivals Pakistan in the opening match of the T20 World Cup. Saying that it was a blessed evening Virat Kohli said he did not felt the energy before.

"October 23rd 2022 will always be special in my heart. Never felt energy like that in a cricket game before. What a blessed evening that was," Virat Kohli said on Twitter.

Virat Kohli's sudden post recalling his sensational knock against Pakistan created a storm on social media and fans had a small heart attack as many doubted if he is hinting at his retirement.

Under his post, many commented that they felt Virat Kohli might be hinting about retirement. Former Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni also announced his retirement with such a post.

Talking about Virat Kohli's heroics. He played a sensational knock of 82 not out in just 53 deliveries. Virat Kohli has a good record against Pakistan and his knock only bettered the record.

Virat Kohli walked onto the field when India was in deep trouble. He made a match-defying partnership with Hardik Pandya. Though Pandya was dismissed in the last over Kohli took India to a sensational victory.

When India needed 48 runs in the last three overs Virat Kohli brought the best out of him and smashed the bowlers all over the park. Kohli's Six off Haris Rauf shifted the momentum towards India.

Kohli's sixer in the 19th over got a place in the list of top 5 game-changing moments of the T20 World Cup 2022 prepared by the international cricket governing body International Cricket Council(ICC). His six was rated as the 'greatest single T20 shot of all time' in the world Cup of the short format.
