Caste Controversy Corners Kottapalli Geeta

Araku MP Kotthapalli Geetha seems to be landed in a big trouble. Few days back a petition was filed against her claiming that she was not an ST. Geeta contested in the general elections 2014 from Aaraku Parliamentary Constituency on YSRCP and won the elections.
The petition was filed by her counterpart Gummadi Sandhya Rani. The court issued the summons to her and the matter was running in courts. Now a shocking twist was emerged regarding her caste.A Investigation Committee which was formed for enquiry on Geeta's brother Vivekananda revealed that her brother does not belong to ST category.This was informed to the Collector who asked for explanation from the MP.
Geetha sought time for explanation as she said she's busy with Parliament sessions.If the case proved then Geeta might lost her MP post. Its known that Geeta won on YCP ticket and later shifted loyalties to TDP.
