Krishnam Raju To Get Rare Honour From TS Government!

The Telangana government has always had a positive approach toward the film industry. When the lockdown was lifted, the Telangana government granted permission for the Tollywood industry to resume the shootings and offered all the help it could do. Even in the matter of movie ticket rates, the government extended its help.
When Krishnam Raju breathed its last, the state government announced state honours. As announced earlier, Krishnam Raju was laid to rest with state honours. The legislators recalled the memories they had with Krishnam Raju and condoled his death.
Now the Telangana government said that Krishnam Raju's statue will be set up in Film Nagar. This is announced by none other than the Cinematography Minister of the state Talasani Srinivas Yadav. He attended the Krishnam Raju Memorial Meet held in Hyderabad earlier today.
Addressing the gathering, Talasani Srinivas Yadav said, Krishnam Raju is known for his hospitality and good nature. Drawing a comparison between Krishnam Raju and Prabhas, Talasani said that Prabhas has similar nature as his Pedananna.
It has to be mentioned here that Krishnam Raju's statue will be the first statue of a film personality to be set up in Film Nagar after the state formation. No big personality had the honour to have a statue in Film Nagar.
