A leading clothing store in Chennai has been sealed by the authorities for floating the Covid-19 norms as hundreds of customers gathered at the clothing store without following social distancing.
Going into details, popular clothing store Kumaran Silks has been sealed by the Chennai Municipal authorities after a video of a huge crowd at the shop went viral on social media.
The Chairman of Greater Chennai Corporation said violators of the instructions will not be spared and warned everyone to follow the instructions and during tough situations.
In the viral video, hundreds of people can be seen gathering at the cloth store. Customers stood very close to each other and many of them have not worn face masks.
Tamil Nadu, which made it to the list of top five worst-affected states with the Covid-19 outbreak has nearly 7 lakh infections. So far, a total of 10,600 patients have succumbed to the virus.
