Bharatiya Janata Party leader and Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar Sushil Kumar Modi made serious allegations against Former Chief Minister of Bihar Lalu Prasad Yadav and made many heads turn.
The former Deputy Chief Minister alleged that Lalu Prasad Yadav tried to buy NDA MLAs. He accused Lalu of indulging in dirty politics by promising ministries to the MLAs.
Sushil even shared a phone number and claimed that Lalu is trying to buy MLAs by using the number. His allegations came hours ahead of the Bihar Assembly speaker elections.
"Lalu Yadav making telephone call (8051216302) from Ranchi to NDA MLAs & promising ministerial berths. When I telephoned, Lalu directly picked up. I said don't do these dirty tricks from jail, you will not succeed," his tweet read.
In another tweet made in Hindi, Sushil said Lalu Yadav showed his reality. He tried to poach the MLAs.
The BJP's candidate Vijay Kumar has won the Bihar Speaker elections with 126 votes. Awadh Bihari Chaudhary fielded by the opposition Rashtriya Janata Dal(RJD) won only 114 votes.
