Leaders Propose, Chandrababu Disposes

Srikakulam TDP is passing through the toughest of the times. TDP strongman Atchen Naidu is facing the ESI scam case. The TDP has no active district president. Though Chandrababu Naidu has appointed Gauthu Sireesha as the party president, but she seems to be totally disinterested in holding the post. She has already indicated that she wants to step down and asked the party to find out a replacement for her.
However, Chandrababu is insisting that she continue in the post. Though some leaders suggested the name of firebrand leader Koona Ravikumar, Chandrababu is said to be of the opinion that Koona Ravikumar should confine himself to Amadalavalasa constituency. This constituency is represented by speaker Tammineni Sitaram. Sitaram has been making virulent attacks on the TDP. Hence Chandrababu wants Koona to confine himself to fight Tammineni.
Though Koona himself is interested in taking up the district president post, Chandrababu wants him to take on Sitaram and confine himself to Amadalavalasa. Sireesha wants to focus on her constituency of Palasa, but Chandrababu wants her to continue as district president. These two leaders want to swap places. But, Chandrababu has other plans. So, both ae turning out to be misfits in their roles.
