London-based firm picks powerful passports in the world!

The Passport issued by the nations stands as the biggest Identification document of the respective nationals. Passports issued by a few countries enable the holders to travel to other countries without any prior visa making the document the most powerful one in the world. A firm that grants ranking for passports across the world has issued the list of rankings in terms of powerful passports in the world.

London-based global citizenship advisory firm Henley & Partners has announced the passports of Japan and Singapore as the powerful passports in the world and the passport holders can travel to as many as 192 countries without any visa. The Henley Passport Index 2021 was issued recently.

The London headquartered firm compiled the report and ranked the powerful passports in the world on the grounds of the list of the countries, the passport holders can travel without having to apply for a visa from the countries they want to travel to.

According to the index, Germany, South Korea, Finland, Italy, Luxembourg, Spain, Austria, Denmark stood at the second, third, and fourth places with a Visa-free score of 190, 198, and 188. France, Ireland, Netherlands, Portugal, Sweden were declared fifth powerful passports with 187 score and with a score of 186, Belgium, New Zealand, Switzerland stood at the sixth [position.

Czech Republic, Greece, Malta, Norway, United Kingdom, United States(7th powerful, Australia, Canada(8th powerful), Hungary(ninth powerful), and Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia(10th powerful passports) are the other powerful passports in the world. On the other hand, the index had termed the passports of Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Pakistan, and Yemen as a few least powerful passports.

As a big sought of bother, India's India's visa-free score fell by as many as six positions which now stood at 58. One who holds the Indian Passport can travel to 58 countries without any hassle. On the other hand, a few countries still restricting the nationals or passengers from certain countries also impacted the rankings of the passports in the world.

Besides a dedicated team from the Henley & Partners' firm researching various issues and topics to prepare the rankings, the firm also banked high on the exclusive data issued by the International Air Transport Association (IATA).
