It is known that the Telangana government took the alleged MLAs Bribery Case seriously. As it is alleged that the BJP agents went into touch with its MLAs a SIT has been set up by the state government to probe the matter.

The High Court of Telangana earlier stayed the notices served by the SIT to BL Santosh. As the time given by the court will end today he moved the court. Hearing the petition, the court extended the stay on the notices he received from the SIT.

The Court which earlier granted protection to BL Santosh till the 5th of this month has now extended the stay to the 13th. Another accused in the case Dr. Jaggu Swamy who filed a quash petition was also given a big relief by the High Court of Telangana.

Both the accused told the court that they have nothing to do with the scam and they are being framed in the case. BL Santosh in his petition said that even before he appeared before the investigating officers he was named as A-4. He sought directives from the court to remove his name from the case.

On the other hand, Jaggu Swamy sought the cancelation of lookout notices. However, the court stayed the orders that were slapped against him instead of canceling them.

The case deals with the alleged attempt made by the BJP to poach four TRS MLAs by offering Rs 100 crore each. Though the BJP distanced itself from the issue the TRS accused the saffron party of its alleged role behind this.
