MLC Kavitha Criticises Union Budget 2023!

Union Finance Minister Niramala Sitharaman presented the Union Budget today in the Parliament House. A few suggestions made by the Budget gave a big relief to middle-class people. The budget received a mixed reaction from politicians and people. All eyes were on the Parliament today to see what the Finance Ministry had to offer.
Now BRS MLA Kavitha reacted to the budget and said the rebate the Union government gave to people who earn up to 7 Lakhs yearly is of no use. The former MP said that they hoped for a rebate of up to 10 lakhs as the people in the state get good salaries and the rebate is of no use.
Criticizing the Union budget, Kavitha said that the budget was offered to either poll-bound states or BJP-ruled states. Talking about the allocations the government made for Infrastructure, Kavitha asked what infrastructure will be asked for and demanded the clearance of dues the Centre owes to the state.
"This budget mathematical confirmation of the failure of Modi govt. This seems like a budget for few states. We hoped tax rebate of up to Rs 10 lakhs. In Telangana, we pay good salaries to people so this rebate is of no use to us," Kavitha said in her interview with ANI.
When middle-class families are happy that they are given a big relief that the tax rebate cap was increased by as many as two lakhs, Kavitha reacted to this and said that The Union Budget is of no use as the employees get high pay in the state.
