MP Avinash Faces Big Blow With Courts Verdict!

Things are not going well with Kadapa YSRCP MP YS Avinash Reddy in the murder case of his Babai YS Vivekananda Reddy. He is one of the accused in the case and the Central Bureau of Investigation(CBI) has been grilling him for the past few weeks. Viveka's daughter YS Sunitha is fighting for justice in the case.

The Ruling party MP, who has been in the news with the case, faced a big blow in the court. Avinash moved the High Court of Telangana seeking directives to not arrest him in the case. But the petition was not entertained. Not just that, but his request to face the questions in presence of his lawyer was also turned down.

His writ petition came for hearing and the High Court said that it cannot stay his arrest. Having said that, the investigating agency CBI was also directed by the court to continue the probe in the murder case.

It is known that YS Avinash Reddy was grilled in the case by the CBI a few times. Usually, the agency won't question the accused multiple times if it has no credible information against him or her. So Avinash Reddy might be in danger with this.

Of late the reports are saying that the MP might get arrested. Though there is no official information on this, the MP seeking directives to stop his arrest in the case added fuel to the opinion. The opposition party leaders asked why the ruling party MP filed the petition when he had done nothing.

Earlier, the High Court stayed the possible actions on the Kadapa MP. The Court said that the CBI cannot take any action against him till the 16th of this month. Though this can be seen as a small relief, he faced a big blow with the verdict of the High Court of Telangana.

YS Vivekananda Reddy, former MP died on the 15th of March in 2019. He was found dead at his residence in Pulivendula. As he passed away ahead of the general polls, the issue took a political turn. His daughter YS Sunitha has been fighting the case.
