Taj Mahal Row: MP Says Tah Majal Land is theirs, has documents!

Indians are now talking about the history that was believed to have been hidden in the past 60 years. From Mughals getting good space in our test books and Hindu leaders not getting the space is being discussed and debated in the past few years. Many Hindus and Right-wing sympathizers say that Hindu leaders were purposefully denied space in textbooks so that the next generations won't know about their rich history and heritage.

After the textbook issue, the alleged construction of Mosques on top of the destroyed Hindu temple came to the scene. With the centuries-old Ayodhya-Babri masjid getting resolved, the focus was shifted to other such disputed areas.

Many BJP leaders have earlier said that we have achieved Ayodhya and Kashi and Mathura are the next targets. Kashi Mathura baaki hai was the phrase that was widely spread by the saffron leaders. Joining the force, the Hindu leaders and BJP netas have been saying that the Taj Mahal was also a Hindu monument and there are Hindu idols inside the Taj Mahal.

A few Right-wing leaders have knocked on the doors of the Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court and sought directives from the court for the investigation inside the closed rooms of the Taj Mahal. However, this was objected to by a few Muslim bodies.

Adding a twist to the tale, the scion of the Royal Jaipur family Diya Kumari had placed sensational claims saying that she has documents that prove that the land where the Taj Mahal stands was owned by the Royal family and she has the documents for that.

Diya Kumari who is also an MP from the saffron party BJP went on to say that Mughal ruler Shah Jahan took possession of the land though it belongs to her family. I can produce the documents to prove the claims so that everyone will get a chance to know about the disputed land, she said.

One question that pops up here is why she did not file a petition earlier in the court or support the petitioners who have been fighting saying that the Taj Mahal was once a Shiva Temple and Shah Jahan had destroyed the temple to build the Taj Mahal.
