Even as the state of Madhya Pradesh is fighting against the pandemic, posters appeared in Bhopal and nearby places about the 'missing' of the local MP. Bhopal MP Pragya Singh Thakur is not available in the constituency especially at a time when there were over 14000 cases in Bhopal, which she represents in the Lok Sabha.
Posters have sprung up at various places asking the people to search for the missing MP. The posters had an interesting comment, which said that the voters should have thought ten times before voting for Pragya Singh Thakur. Her rival and Congress stalwart Digvijay Singh is always available for the people in times of need, the writings in the poster claimed. The posters also said that Digvijay is working round the clock for the people.
Meanwhile, there are reports that Pragya Singh Thakur is now under treatment in the All India Institute for Medical Sciences in Delhi. She is said to be suffering from cancer. However, she is ensuring the supply of essential commodities through the party machinery, her supporters claim. Some say that these posters are a tit-for-tat to the BJP which pasted similar posters against Kamal Nath, his son and other senior leaders in the region at the time of the assembly elections.
