Actress-turned-politician Nusrat Jahan is almost a synonym for controversy. No matter what she does and what she speaks, it lands in some or the other controversy. Earlier, she was in the headlines with her infamous divorce and marriage issues. With Jahan being a ruling party MP in West Bengal, news related to her gets wide attention.
The actress-cum-MP is in the news now as posters that say that she is missing appeared in her Lok Sabha constituency. The posters written in Bengali say that the MP is missing from the constituency. This led to a war of words between the TMC and BJP leaders.
While the ruling party leaders are saying that the posters might be set up by the opposition as a cheap attack against the party, the BJP is hitting back saying that the ruling party might have put up the posters so that it can target the opposition for raising the voices against the government.
Looking at the issue from a critical point of view, the MP kept herself busy by enjoying exotic locations and having the experience of watching the film as a mother along with her toddler. On social media, she regularly shares updates on her travel diaries.
As the MP is also gearing up for her comeback on the silver screen, she is having a busy schedule that she cannot dedicate time to spend on the constituency to address the issues faced by the people.
