Prime Minister Narendra Modi often proclaim himself as a tea seller. Now Mamata Banerjee seems to have taken up the role, for a day.
Mamata Banerjee was traveling through Dattapur village, 182 km from the capital, suddenly she stopped the convoy in front of a tea shack and the owner was surprised. The tea shop owner was in shock at the VIP visit.
Mamata Banerjee went inside and started making tea. She stirred the tea in a jar-sized mug and added sugar. After preparing the tea she asked the tea seller to serve the tea
Mamata Banerjee, in fact, tweeted a short video and a saying, "sometimes the little joys in life can make us happy. Making and sharing some nice tea (cha/chai) is one of them".
Her Chaiwalla act surprised many people as she always been often sarcastic about Prime Minister Narender Modi's background - especially the chaiwallah bit.
Just a few days back she made a surprise visit to a slum and spoke to the people living there. She sat with the people and discussed the problems.
