The Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) which is high on confidence after winning Bihar and Madhya Pradesh has shifted its focus to West Bengal for the upcoming Legislative Assembly elections.
During his recent visit to West Bengal, serving Minister of Home Affairs Amit Shah visited a tribal family who hail from Bankura city in West Bengal. He had food at the Tribal family's house.
Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee launched an attack on Amit Shah's visit to the tribal family. The Chief Minister called shah's visit a Show-off.
Mamata Banerjee alleged that the food which Amit Shah ate at the Dalit home was not cocked by the family, but it was brought from outside. he even added that the food was prepared by a Brahmin cook.
Amit Shah visited West Bengal for a two-day tour. During the tour, Amit Shah met the tribal family and had lunch at his house.
Mamata Banerjee, who has been mocking Amit Shah over the two-day visit, targeting him on having lunch in the Dalit family's residence. She even said Amit Shah didn't know who tribal freedom fighter Birsa Munda as he mistook a hunter with Birsa Munda and garlanded a hunter's statue.
