Manchu Lakshmi to be Nominated as Rajya Sabha Member?

Actor and politician, who is known as a close aide of former CM, TDP founder late NT Rama Rao DR. Mohan Babu meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with his family members led to a lot of speculations and political debates.
Narendra Modi who has a hectic schedule gave an appointment to Mohan Babu and this led to a debate in the political circles. It has been reported that Modi has welcomed Mohan Babu into the BJP party.
When asked by the media, Mohan Babu said this is not the right time to talk about the political meeting, leaving everyone in a state of confusion.
According to some insider reports, it is believed that Manchu Lakshmi will be nominated as Rajya Sabha member from the BJP party. Interestingly, she never contested in elections till now.
Mohan Babu was also an MP once during the regime of late NT Rama Rao. But with his demise, the TDP party went into the hands of Chandrababu Naidu and he declared himself as party supremo.
Things did not go well between Naidu and Mohan Babu and the latter left politics and party and kept himself distance from politics. He joined the YSRCP party and accused Naidu of his ideas and over bossism.
The present meeting and speculations got its own importance as rumors of Mohan Babu bidding goodbye to the ruling YSRCP party. To get more clarity on this, we may have to wait a few more days.
