The most anticipated meeting of the Telugu states Chief Ministers YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and K Chandrasekhar Rao took place at KCR's official residence in Hyderabad.
This meeting got its own significance as the country is witnessing violent protests ad unrest across the nation against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), National Population Register (NPR) and National Register of Citizens (NRC). Interestingly, the YSRCP voted in favour of the bill in Parliament and it said CAA will not implement in AP.
According to the close circles, both the CMs asked their respective Chief Secretaries to meet soon regarding the concerned issues of the 9th and 10th schedules of the AP Reorganisation Act. The issues are pending since the division of the state in 2014.
It is known that in their previous meeting Rao and Reddy had a word on how to share the river waters in a way to benefit the states.
It has been reported that KCR has supported the Jagan's decision to have three capitals for the decentralisation of the power and to continue Vishakapatnam as the executive capital.
