The ongoing probe on drug abuse in Sandalwood, Kannada Film Industry is surprising everyone with each day passing, as many big names and people associated are coming out.

As the latest development in the case, 55 gms of dry marijuana and 3.5 gms of ecstasy were found in a police raid at Aditya Alva's residence in Bangalore reportedly.

Police said Aditya Alva, former Karnataka Minister Jeevraj Alva's son and Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi's brother-in-law is the sixth accused in connection with the drug case in the industry.

Reportedly, the First Information Report (FIR) registered at the Cottonpet police station in Bengaluru mentioned Aditya Alva as the sixth accused in the drug abuse case.

Some media reports claimed that during the investigation, accused Ravishankar told the officials that Alva used to procure and supply drugs at the parties. Officials have. also got the required evidence to prove the relation between Alva and drug peddlers.

Since September 2020, Alva has been absconding after the NIA started probing into the drug usage. The Crime Branch has formed teams and has been looking for the accused.

On Tuesday, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) of Bengaluru zone, has arrested Kannada Bigg Boss fame Adam Pasha and produced her before the special NDPS court in Bengaluru, media reports claimed.

Earlier, Sandalwood actresses Sanjjanaa Galrani, Ragini Dwivedi, and Anika were arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau.
