Minister's PA Kidnapped, Seven Arrested

In a shocking incident, a group of AIADMK workers have kidnapped the PA of Tamil Nadu animal husbandry minister Udumalai Radhakrishnan's PA Karnan. The police have managed to nab seven persons in this connection. The PA has been released safely after a few hours in captivity .
According to the police, some miscreants came and whisked away Karnan on September 23. He was taken to an undisclosed destination. Two to three hours later, they set him free. Later, Karnan lodged a complaint with the Udumalai police, who investigated the case and arrested seven persons. The arrested persons have been identified as AIADM leaders Pradeep, Arun Kumar, Sundaresan, Devaraju, Taka, Vinod and Selva Ganapathi. Another person, identified as Raghu, is on the run.
The police said that the gang has planned to kidnap Karnan with an intention to take away his money. Karnan had recently sold one of his properties and the gang wanted to relieve him of the money. They demanded that he pay Rs 10 lakh. Karnan reportedly paid Rs 50000 to the gang to walk free.
