Times Now-VMR Poll Survey indicates that the image of Prime Minister Narendra Modi increased tremendously after the Pulwama Terror Attack in Kashmir. In the poll conducted from February 5th to 21st, 52 percent of respondents favoured Narendra Modi and only 27 percent preferred Rahul Gandhi. Regional Parties could attain the support of just 7.3 percent.

In January 2019 Survey, Modi and Rahul got the support of 44.4 percent and 30 percent respondents respectively.

About 43 percent opined Rahul Gandhi is emerging as an alternative. Whereas, 40 percent voted against the Congress President.

While 46 percent of respondents opined NDA failed to fulfil its poll promises, 27 percent claimed to happy with NDA Rule.

40 Percent opined Employment Creation is the biggest factor in Lok Sabha Polls 2019. While 17.7 felt Agriculture will be the deciding factor, 14 percent believes Ram Mandir issue.

Increasing the cap on IT Returns up to Rs 5 lakh was welcomed by 33 percent. 29.9 percent felt the decision was taken by the end of term, 24.1 percent termed it as election stunt.

56 percent voted in favour of PM Kisan Samman. Whereas, 30 percent felt its not beneficial to the farmers.

When quizzed about the unity among Opposition Parties, 35 percent refused to comment and 32 percent dubbed it as opportunistic politics.

Times Now-VMR Survey collected 14,431 samples from 690 locations in the country.
