More Cong leaders set to desert party in Telangana?
X
The Congress Party in Telangana is worried that the exodus from the party will not stop with Kuna Srisailam Goud. It fears that more young and locally powerful leaders will desert the party in Telangana. Indications are that several constituency level leaders are already in touch with the Bharatiya Janata Party and are likely to jump into the BjP at any given moment.

Sources say that several key leaders like Malkajgiri assembly constituency incharge Nandikanti Sridhar, Vikarabad District Congress Committee president Rammohan Reddy, Mahila Congress president Nerella Sharada are all set to leave the Congress anytime. All these three leaders have already spoken to the BjP bosses and are in the process of putting their exit plan into action. If these leaders leave the party, the Congress will become locally rudderless and leaderless. This will considerably weaken the party's organizational structure.

If sources are to be believed, former MP Konda Visweswara Reddy too is lukewarm to the Congress Party's calls for agitational programmes. He has not been attending party meets of late. These days, many of his tweets are clearly sympathetic to the BJP. Sources say that even he too could take a plunge anytime.
