Days after showering praises on Telangana Chief Minister KCR for starting Dalit Bandhu scheme that aims at empowering Dalit community, former Minister Motkupalli Narasimhulu resigned from the BJP on Friday.

It is said that he will join the TRS party in the presence of Chief Minister KCR and an announcement in this regard would be made soon.

The former Minister sent his resignation letter to Bandi Sanjay Kumar, the Telangana's State BJP Chief.

He addressed the media after resigning from the BJP party. He lashed out at the party for not recognising him and giving proper position to him despite having good experience in politics.

The former Minister also became critical of the Telangana wing of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for inviting Etela Rajender into the party who is facing corruption allegations.

Despite being in the party, no one informed me that Etela Rajender is joining the party. This made me sad. I was not given preference and importance in the party, he said.

He has come down severely on Etela Rajender. Calling the former Cabinet Minister corrupt, Motkupalli Narasimhulu opined that Etela should not go for the elections as he doesn't deserve that.

Motkupalli Narasimhulu gave a hint of joining the TRS by attending the Dalit Bandhu meeting and thanking the Chief Minister for the scheme.

With this the association of Motkupalli Narasimhulu with the saffron party BJP came to an end.

The former Minister started his political career with the Telugu Desam Party started by late NTR. He was elected as the Alair MLA in 1983.

Later he was made Minister and in Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao's cabinet, Motkupalli Narasimhulu held welfare and tourism ministries.

Motkupalli Narasimhulu joined the BJP earlier last year after bidding goodbye to TDP. He joined the party in the presence of BJP National Chief JP Nadda. His stint with the BJP ended now.

TRS marks the fourth political party, Motkupalli Narasimhulu will be associated with. Starting with TDP, the former Minister was with the Congress and BJP.

Now all eyes are on Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) on what position on sest Motkupalli Narasimhulu will be given as he gave the reason of non recognition in the BJP to leave the party.
