TDP In 1980? What Have You Done Lokesh??

Nara Lokesh faced criticism for becoming a Minister in the shortcut. TDP Leadership is now determined to prove that Lokesh is capable of getting elected as MLA even from the constituency which isn't the stronghold of the party. That is why Mangalagiri has been preferred for the elevation of Chinna Babu.
TDP won Mangalagiri Seat in 1983 and 1985 Elections. Thereafter, It had allotted this seat for its alliance partners (Left, BJP). In 2014 Elections, TDP fielded Ganji Chiranjeevi but he faced defeat by a margin of 12 votes contesting against YCP candidate Alla Ramakrishna Reddy. For 2019 Polls, Chandrababu Naidu want Nara Lokesh to contest in this constituency dominated by the BCs.
The comments made by Nara Lokesh after his candidature was confirmed for Mangalagiri is worrying the TDP Leaders and Cadre. Nara Lokesh issued a statement, 'TDP has won in Mangalagiri since 1980. It's up to the people to decide whether I should be win or lose'.
There can't be a bigger blunder than this statement. TDP was floated by NTR in 1982 and contested elections in 1983. The Party doesn't even exist in 1980.
The time has arrived for Nara Lokesh to leave Twitter and launch political campaign. He needs to realise that every mistake committed by him at this crucial juncture will cost TDP dearly.
