The BJP is gearing up for the general elections in Karnataka, followed by the Lok Sabha polls next year. While the party is following different strategies for the polls, the saffron party is banking high on the popularity of Narendra Modi. If the party wins the upcoming Lok Sabha polls then we will see BJP in power and Modi in PMO for the third consecutive time.

Ahead of this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is named the most powerful Indian in 2023. What's even more surprising is that five people related to the party are in the top five positions and the opposition party leaders are restricted to just the top 20 list.

Narendra Modi who is all set to contest the third Lok Sabha polls as the PM's face is at the top post. His meeting with global leaders and the position of India among the global nations might have helped Narendra Modi to reach the top position. He would campaign in Karnataka and the rest of the nation.

Amit Shah is at the second post. He is the second most powerful person in the nation as he is the Union Home Minister. Even in the party, he is the deputy of Narendra Modi. His association with Modi goes back to the Gujarat days. Amit Shah is the key planner behind the decisions the party takes. He is also called the Chankaya of current politics.

It is no wonder that S. Jaishankar is in the third position. As the Minister of External Affairs of India, he has been giving the voice of India on key issues on global issues. When Europe and US tried to pressure India from not buying oil from Russia, India said that it is not even buying half of what Europe is buying. Many call him the best External Affairs Minister in recent times.

The serving Chief Justice of India Dhananjaya Y. Chandrachud is in the fourth position on the list. He is the top Judge in the top court in the country. So this might have made him the fourth most powerful Indian.

BJP's star leader Yogi Adityanath is ranked fifth on the list. The Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister started the idea of Bulldozer politics in the state and the idea encouraged other BJP-ruled states to follow it. Yogi Adityanath is regarded as a cult leader in the state.

RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, BJP National President JP Nadda, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Mukesh Ambani, and National Security Advisor of India, Ajit Doval are in the next positions.
