Leaving everyone in a deep shock Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that he is considering "giving up" his social media accounts. He tweeted a Tweet regarding his decision.

His decision did not go well with his followers across various social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram who are more than 130 million in number.

"This Sunday, thinking of giving up my social media accounts on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram & YouTube. Will keep you all posted," his Tweet read.

Within two hours his post became viral and over 1 lakh users have liked the post and the tweet was also retweeted more than 65,000 times.

Former President of the Congress party, present Congress leader Rahul Gandhi reacted to the news and tweeted, "Give up hatred, not social media accounts,"

Congress' chief spokesperson Randeep Surjewala also res[ponded to Modi's tweet and responded as, "Respected Modi ji, Earnestly wish you would give this advise to the concerted army of trolls, who abuse-intimidate-badger-threaten others every second in you name! Sincere Regards, Citizens of India"
