Prime Minister Narendra Modi who addressed the 75th United Nations General Assembly(UNGA) has called for serious introspection in the intergovernmental organization.
Narendra Modi raised questions over the role of the United Nations in battling the COVID-19 pandemic and said did the global body put in efforts in the fight against the pandemic.
Given the prevailing situations, Narendra Modi virtually addressed the house and his speech was a pre-recorded video address that was broadcasted at the UNGC hall.

The PM said the nation is proud of being one of the founding members of the United Nations and maintained that he is sharing the feelings of the people of India.
Over the past 75 years, the United Nations has added many things to its achievements and there are exams which ask the global body to introspect itself, Narendra Modi said.
Narendra Modi stressed India's pharmaceutical industry and said the nation always thinks about the interests of the human race. He added that India has sent essential medicines to over 150 nations.
He went on to say that India, which is the largest vaccine manufacturing nation in the world will lend a helping hand in letting the entire humanity out of the pandemic crisis.
