Neelam Sanjeeva Reddy's grandson to join the Lotus Party!!

If all goes well, the BJP is all set to net another big fish soon. Senior politician and former MLA Challa Venkatrami Reddy is being wooed into the party. BJP insiders say that he is likely to take the membership of the party in the presence of BJP national president JP Nadda. Sources also say that Telangana BJP president Bandi Sanjay himself is said to be wooing Challa Venkatrami Reddy.
Challa was Alampur MLA in 2004. Later, Alampur became an SC reserved constituency and he opted out of politics. Despite not being active in day-to-day politics, he wields considerable influence in Alampur, Achampet, Gadwal, Wanaparthy and Kollapur assembly constituencies. He had played a key role in the victory of Congress candidates Abraham and Sampath Kumar in 2009 and 2014 elections.
Sources say that BJP national vice-president DK Aruna, former MP AP Jitender Reddy and some other key leaders are holding talks with Challa. They reportedly offered to give tickets to anyone suggested by Challa for Alampur assembly constituency . Challa too is said to be amenable to join the BJP.
Challa Venkatrami Reddy is the grandson of former President of India Neelam Sanjeeva Reddy. This would also help the BJP in scoring political points. Meanwhile, former minister Jupally Krishna Rao and daughter of former minister and Congress leader Shankar Rao are also likely to join the BJP before the yatra of Bandi Sanjay ended.
