New Demand: CBI Probe In Delhi Murder Case?
X
The whole nation is now talking about the spine-chilling murder of a girl in the national capital Delhi who is believed to have been killed by his live-in partner. After the case came to light the alleged atrocities the accused had done for the victim sent shocking waves all over.

Now a new demand has come which says that the case should be given to the CBI for a detailed investigation. A lawyer knocked on the doors of the High Court of Delhi seeking the directives. In the petition, the lawyer spoke about how sensitive the issue is as per the media reports.

The lawyer maintained that machinery and the staff the CBI has will come in handy in probing the matter as the state police have limited staff. The lawyer who is identified as Joshina Tuli said the case needs an efficient investigation.

There is a point in what the lawyer said. After the issue came to light the incident spot attracted good footfalls as the locals showed interest to reach the spot and see what happened there. The footfalls might have cleared the pieces of evidence and information.

When the media reports say that the accused disposed of the head of the victim in a nearby pond, the authorities drained it by a bit so that it will be easy to check for the body parts.

If the case is given to the CBI then the staff of the agency will be able to seal the crime spot as a precautionary measure. The petition filed by the lawyer is likely to come up for the hearing soon.

Accused Aftab Poonawala and victim Shraddha Walkar are lovers and used to stay in a live-in relationship. After a fight, he killed and chopped the victim's body. Though the crime happened in May it came to light recently after the parents of the victim moved the police.
