The new design was prepared by the architect without any issues with 'vaastu' as Telangana CM KCR is an evident follower of vaastu.

As per the details, the new Secretariat will be constructed with an approximated cost of Rs 400-500 crore which will be spread in an area of seven lakh square feet. The construction will be a six-storey building. The new building will be accommodating the offices of Ministers and their secretaries.

Out of the 27 cares, only a 20 percent land will be used for the new Secretariat, while the remaining land will be used for vehicle parking and landscapes. It is believed that the Secretariat will be constructed in a way to accommodate as many as 800 vehicles at a time without any issues.
