New Twist In RTC Issue

With the strike observed by the Telangana RTC employees have reached the 48th day, the RTC JAC said that it is ready to quit the strike if the government shows its interest to take back the 48,000 employees.
"We have said that we will call off the strike, only the TSRTC management and the state government should not have any condition for the employees when they join back," V.S. Rao, co-convener of RTC said.
It has been reported that KCR is not willing to take back the RTC employees unconditionally. KCR reportedly said that the employees should agree to the demands of the government in a written form.
The government will likely ask the employees to sign the agreement that they will not call for a strike in the future, demand salary for the strike period, not demand for the merger of RTC into government and will not interfere in any sort of financial related issues.
KCR is yet to take a final call on the RTC dispute.
