No More Social Media, Fight On The Ground, Says Congress

Finally, the Congress has woken up. Three months after its crushing defeat in the elections, the Congress party organised its first ever strategy meeting. It decided to launch a massive agitational campaign against the BJP government. But wait.... The protest programme would be organised only a month later - that is in the October end.

On Thursday, Sonia Gandhi chaired the part's key meeting and said that it was not enough if the party was active and aggressive on the social media. There have to be agitations on the ground. Our presence needs to be felt, she said. The Congress will soon launch a massive agitation on some issue against the BJP government. The issue on which the party would conduct the agitation has not been decided so far.

The party has decided to talk about youth and women related issues in a big way and feels that the youth and women are more receptive towards the Congress. However, Priyanka Gandhi has said that the youth and women in UP were not receptive to the Congress and that the party needed to work harder in the state.
