The Union Minister Home Minister Amit Shah had tested positive for Covid-19 last Sunday and was admitted to the Medanta Hospital in Gurugram.

BJP leader and MP Manoj Tiwari tweeted on Sunday that Shah had tested negative for Covid-19.  However, MHA revealed that no fresh test for the coronavirus disease has been conducted on Union home minister Amit Shah since last week.

This clarification comes after MP Manoj Tiwari tweet saying that Shah had tested negative. Now, the BJP leader has deleted his tweet. More details will be out soon.

So far, several politicians, including Amit Shah, BS Yediyurappa, Siddaramaiah, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Arjun Ram Meghwal and Karti Chidambaram, among others, have tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
