Big insult: No Sponsors For Team India's Jersey!

The Board of Control for Cricket in India(BCCI) is the cricket governing body in India. The Cricket board enjoys good respect as it is seen as a big brother in the world of cricket. Despite all this, the BCCI faced humiliating situations and many say that not having foresight resulted in the board facing unexpected situations. The BCCI could not find a sponsor for Team India for the much-awaited World Test Championship Finals.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India(BCCI)'s delay in finalising the sponsors of Jersey for the tournament proved costly and the situation reached a point where Team India players have to wear casual jerseys for the tournament. Online learning platform BYJU'S used to be the official sponsor of Team India Jersey. German athletic apparel company Adidas replaced it as a jersey sponsor.
BYJU's left the contract suddenly and BCCI taking time in picking the next sponsor and finalising them resulted in a big delay. As a result, no sponsor was found as of now and media reports say that Indian players might have to play the finals wearing casual jerseys without any names on them. Though there would be logos of BCCI and Adidas, players are likely to wear jerseys that would not have big logos like BYJU's on it.

People would have not expected that they would see such a situation. Talking about the World Test Championship title, it is the second edition which starts on June 7th. The Oval Stadium in Australia will be hosting the match which will be played between India and Australia two of the biggest cricketing nations. Fans of the two teams are hoping that their team would win the trophy. But we have to wait for a few more days to see who wins the trophy.
