Old KCR is back!!

Telangana chief minister KCR has changed his strategy. Of late, he is seen touring the rural Telangana and is seen participating in a slew of developmental programmes. Not just that, he is having community feasts with the villagers and is addressing public meetings. In the meetings, he is back to his pre-2014 style. His lectures are peppered with punch lines, one-liners and light-hearted banter.
Political analysts say that this change in KCR's overall behavior is mainly to dispel the notion that he is imperious and does not meet the people. While leaving the TRS, Eatala Rajender has said that he could not secure KCR's appointment despite several attempts. He had also pointed out that Pragathi Bhavan is closed for the common people. Many people felt that there is some truth in what Eatala said. KCR has realised that it is important to change that perception. Hence he has organized these visits. As expected the public response to KCR is positive. The old KCR is back, is the general reaction in these meetings. Sources say that KCR intends to improve his outreach significantly in the days to come.
Meanwhile, he has also taken up administrative reshuffle and has appointed additional collectors for the speedy implementation of the government's flagship programmes. He wants to ensure that the negative publicity surrounding him should be removed as quickly as possible.
